Sourdough Series

welcome to my sourdough series! You will find recipes for everything from a classic sourdough boule, to the fluffiest sourdough focaccia!

As I approach the 2.5-year mark of my sourdough journey, I can’t help but notice how contagious this hobby can be! I’ve shared my passion with friends and family, and the requests for lessons keep rolling in.

To avoid a life devoid of bread, I dedicated the last two years to perfecting my recipes and techniques, all while nurturing my starter.

The recipes I’m sharing below are my go-to favorites and serve as the foundation for nearly everything sourdough-related. Once you master these basics, you can start to experiment with various inclusions, toppings, and flavors.

For those eager to learn the art of sourdough, there is an abundance of resources available online. You’ll find that everyone has their unique approach, and over time, your recipe will evolve alongside your methods. Embrace the learning process; it’s more about intuition than strict timelines. One of my favorite resources is “Tartine” by Chad Robertson—it’s truly a bread bible that covers everything you need to know.

Finally, remember that while sourdough can be time-consuming, much of that time is hands-off. With practice, you can adapt your recipes and methods to fit your lifestyle. I believe my recipes are relatively straightforward, but as you continue to practice, you’ll discover your own rhythm and style.
